An empty page.

Can there be anything else in the world more inspiring or more depressing?

Paper without words or graphics is only potential. It can be likened to god creating the universe, then decidng to call it an early day, without filling it with anything. No stars, no planets, no plasma and no life. Blank paper is so...empty.

On the other hand, blank paper can be regarded as the ultimate form of art. It can become anything, indeed, is anything, en potentia.

In a dozen universes, this page on my account is not blank

In a dozen different universes, words from a dozen different people cram every free pixel of space on this lackluster profile of mine.

In a different universe, I would be a better writer.
So...blank paper. Empty pages. I had to put something here. The silence was driving me crazy.
